My son in-law is preparing to end his career with the Marines soon and It breaks my heart to watch him and my daughter stress over a job and housing everyday. I am hoping this is going to open doors for my son in-law, he is diffinitely my hero he has gone to Iraq 3 times and Afghanistan twice. Now it’s time he spends his time with his wife and children.

My name is Richard. I’m the President of the St. Joseph’s College Armed Forces Association in Patchogue, NY. We are a club that focuses on helping the veterans that attend SJC and the veteran community. I’m glad to see that there are organization like this one that is supportive and helpful to our veterans. I am a Vietnam veteran.I suffered some 44 years with PTSD. I’ve been in recovery for two years. It has become my goal or passion to help todays vet not go through what I’ve been through.I intend to do this by speaking to veterans and those who want to help veterans about PTSD. I have professional people who can vouch for my abilities. What I do need is the audience.

I have been out of the Navy for 4 years already and am glad that I live in an area that supports Veterans. I am extremely happy to see an organization like Got Your 6 taking the needs of active duty and Vets alike and their families to heart and doing what should always happen.
