Got Your 6 isn’t just about words. It’s about showing our returning service men and women that we truly do have their back; that we are proud of the service they’ve given us, and that we are going to work for them to help them reintegrate into life after the military. More than one million men and women will be leaving military life over the next five years, bringing with them skills, knowledge, and determination to succeed. Now it’s up to us to make sure those resources are put to work to help them…and ultimately to help all Americans. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Employers Support for the Guard and Reserve will host a job fair for veterans and their spouses in New Orleans on Friday, May 11. It’s one of 50 hiring fairs being hosted by the U.S. Chamber as part of their “Hiring Our Heroes” effort. Jobs are a key component to reintegrating veterans into our communities.
